Flight to Brisbane

*Today I flew from Melbourne to Brisbane at 7am, landed at 9am. The flight was okay, I slept most of it seeing as I had only gone to bed at 3am! I arrived in Brisbane wearing 2 hoodies and 4 tops, and I was peeling layers off the second I got off the plane!*

*Jenna Raynes - Frontiers staff stood there at the exit holding a **Y*W*A*M** paper so I walked up and was extremely happy to meet her. She took be back to the van and we loaded my baggage on and began the journey to Mitchelton Base YWAM. We talked a lot and I must have been strangely confident for me as I was rather chatty and smiley! [Its YWAM they do this to you!!] I thought, Just kidding.*

*We arrived at the base and I got a tour of the wonderful home I would be staying at for the next 6 months! I was shown my room and was instantly in love as it was smaller than a lot of the student accommodation and it had verses and quotes painted up on the walls. I dumped my bags and was taken to the games on the field which had already started! I went down with one of my roomies from Norway - Ing, She seemed shy, but she was no doubt jet lagged and very tired after a 26hour + plane flight!*

*There was a barbie for lunch so we all sat on the grass introducing ourselves, There were about 60 Names and people for me to get to know! Kinda over whelming but really cool. My school (Frontiers) is the smallest out of the 3 DTS's that started that day, and I was pretty happy to be part of my little Frontiers Family! All the other 5 girls in my room are all on Frontiers, and that's the girls on the whole school! We were still one girl down - so we have an empty bed at the moment, and the two guys on our course from Darjeeling are having visa problems. Sarah the girl missing, is from England too, and will be arriving this weekend!*

*So lots of introducing and pretty much the same conversation with everyone you meet - But that will be over soon =]*
